Welcome to my blog! There are so many authors that publish blogs these days, and what a great tool it really is! Personally I find author blogs to be extremely fascinating as it gives the reader a chance to get to know the author. Believe it or not, as much as I love to write I have dreaded the actual “creating a blog for my readers” bit. I knew it was coming, but I have definitely put it off (you may be questioning yourself, why would an author who loves to write not want to create a blog so they can write more…).
Here is the thing…and please don’t jump to conclusions… Until recently, I have never quite understood the importance of having an author blog. In the past, I felt that if I had time to blog then I should spend that time writing instead.
The TRUTH…
The TRUTH is I need to blog. I need to be able to be transparent with my readers! I also need to have some time to talk about the wonderful life of being an author (not even being sarcastic. I truly think it is wonderful).
As I think about all of the author blogs I have read and how I have been influenced by so many, it gives me hope that I too can inspire someone to reach for their goals whether it be in writing or whatever.
So here you have it. My first blog. Actually, it wasn’t so bad and I hope to write more soon!
